Sai Paradise manufactured push pull tester is a sophisticated dual-range, motorized, and stand-top unit designed to measure pull-test forces of crimp and ultrasonic weld connections on a wide range of wires than single-range pull test devices.
Pull test values are critical parameters for quality control and assurance. This versatile PPT-1000 / 2000 model machine has two measuring ranges. It individually calibrates enabling the use of its 10 kg scale for small wires; while easily switching to its 100kgs scale for larger wires. This dual range capability ensures the highest accuracy for the widest range of applications. Hand operated pull test devices are bound to give inconsistent data depending on the operator or pull rate. Several standards specify that a test device must pull with a consistent rate.
The PPT-1000 / 2000 comes with a speed-controlled motor, which ensures consistent pull rates throughout the measuring range resulting in repeatable and accurate data. Pull forces can be measured in Kilograms and Newtons. The standard 12-position terminal holder accommodates a wide variety of terminals to suit most applications. The solid instrument is designed for quality control applications in laboratories and in production facilities. This PPT-100+ instrument is designed for measuring tensile strength of soldered or solder-free cable joints with end sleeves, pins; solder pins or similar wire terminal components in accordance with all standards.
Depending on the standard the constant pull speed is adjustable. Test samples are inserted into the receptacle adaptor which has 12 different slot widths (from 0.5 mm to 6.0 mm) covering all the prevalent wire diameter and terminal types. Its simple operation allows the users to acquire reliable and reproducible test results.
The user inserts the wire terminal into the receptacle adapter, and the open wire end into the combined clamp pull device. The wire will be fixed into position, and then constantly pulled.

The traction force is applied by an easy gliding lever system which simultaneously clamps the wire and creates a consistent pull with minimal effort.

The traction force is collected at an accuracy of ±0.5 % and is shown on the display at a resolution of 10 grams. The peak value at which the cable is torn will be automatically shown in the display
